Today is my first day back after a great beach holiday. While out walking on my holiday with my children I saw this. Don’t let your church communicate like this.

This is a real life example of communicating the complete opposite of what you actually want to communicate. I was walking by a landscape gardeners house and this was the sign behind a very unkept hedge.

Ask yourself. What is our message? What is the best way to deliver it?

(On a related note, you can check out here the six lessons I learnt creating our church directional signage)

Your Turn

Have you seen any examples of bad communication that actually do the opposite to what they were trying to achieve?
