Its not hard to come up with clever ideas. The challenge is to turn that clever idea into successful innovation. One of the biggest differences between a workplace in a dying/stale church and a workplace in a growing church is their ability and willingness to innovate and to take risks.
With risk comes the opportunity for great success and failure.
Without risk there is no conflict, no danger, no growth. All there is the peace and quiet of a graveyard.
