I’m really excited about being invited to speak at the 2012 Christian Media Conference on the Gold Coast in May. I’m excited for 4 HUGE reasons:
1) I’ll be around other people like me, who are passionate about what they do and why they do it. I’ve never met many of them. Drop a comment if you want to meet me so we can hook up!
2) I’ll get to listen hear some fresh and insightful thinking from people such as:
Tim Schraeder (All round good guy and strategic communications Jedi knight)
Richenda Ghebrial-Ibrahim (World Vision’s social media diva)
Katherine Spackman (Australian Christian Lobby)
Paul Nevison (Hillsong film-maker); and
So many more bright sparks that I gave up typing and you’ll have to click on the link to find out who they are.
3) It runs for 3 days so there is plenty of time for good conversation without feeling like you didn’t get enough time.
4) It’s the Gold Coast. C’mon what did you expect?
The conference website says I’m a world-class expect, I always giggle very nervously when someone else calls me a world-class expert. Talk about raising expectations. No pressure eh?
